John Douglas is two people, not the split identity variety - more the two people living in different geographical locations variety. As a white male of european descent and middle-class background, he epitomizes every detail of the ordinary. That being so, john douglas the artist is mostly harmless. Pre-miss-conceived during a drunken-drug induced haze we have no clear recollection of his birth. The only thing we remember is an old typewriter constructed in the mid fifties and erroneously handed down from a chromosome that was not even his. Beyond that he has consistantly resisted forces which push toward any sense of normal. The result of which is that he has become quite average instead. Oh well, he tends to say things like, 'i'd like to contribute. i quite fancy technology. i'd like to drive the landscape for a while. carting my technology behind. gathering moss. like a rolling stone cowboy in the desert wind... the technology i refer to is finger pushin. finger pushin lifestyles of the poor and faceless.'

Mother, there is nothing wrong with bloging while intoxicated. Sometimes it can actually prove to be the most interesting of entry.
